Terms of Service
These terms apply to the use of the lokalapi API at api.lokalapi.com. The service is provided by Paul Schnetzer, Hänflingweg 19, 70499 Stuttgart, Germany (see Impressum). By sending a paid request you accept these terms.
1. The service
lokalapi returns reference data compiled from official Indonesian sources (Kemendagri, BPS) via HTTP. Each paid request is a separate contract for one response, priced as listed on lokalapi.com and in the HTTP 402 payment offer at the time of the request. There is no account, subscription or minimum term. The service is intended for developers and businesses, not for consumers.
2. Provided as is
The data is provided as is. I make no warranty that it is complete, current or correct, or that the service is available without interruption. Official sources change, and the data may lag behind them.
3. No legal advice
Responses are reference information, not legal, tax or licensing advice. In particular, KBLI results do not replace checking the requirements for your business on oss.go.id or consulting a qualified advisor.
4. Payments
Requests are paid per call in USDC on Base via the x402 protocol. Payment settles only after a successful response; error responses (HTTP 4xx/5xx) are not charged. Settled payments are final. There is no refund for a request that returned a successful response, including when the result did not meet your expectations. You are responsible for your wallet, keys and any spending limits of your client or agent.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service in a way that impairs its operation for others, for example by circumventing payment or overloading it. Requests that do so may be blocked. Keep the source attribution when you republish data from responses.
6. Liability
I am liable only for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. This limitation does not apply to injury to life, body or health, or to liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).
7. Changes
Prices and these terms may change for future requests. The version published here at the time of a request applies to it.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
